Scrolling through the Jacks this month I was immediately drawn to Deb's layout. The simplicity of it, the opportunity to scrap in a size I wouldn't normally tackle and the idea of scrapping a favorite toy. So, I had a tinker - changed it up a little - and here's my effort...
Lego
CJ has a renewed love of Lego lately... very complex and detailed Lego sculptures that often take days to complete. Sometimes he gets very frustrated by the directions and the intricate pieces, but he perseveres and the results are amazing.
While working on the layout I realised why I wouldn't normally scrap in this size. What would I do with it? To make it more workable for me I made a matching page to house my journalling and turned it into a mini double spread.

I love what you have done here, Felicity and even more, it's great that you have done a double to make it your own. The colours look amazing and the arrows draw you to focus on the photo and journalling. Thanks for jacking my page and for playing along with us at Scrap Jacked.
ReplyDeleteHi Felicity - I love the 6 x 12" page as it stands - it looks really great with the photos that you have chosen. But, making it into a double was a fantastic idea too!! Love the paint and arrows :)
ReplyDeleteHi Felicity, thought I should stop and say hi and thanks for the lovely comments you left me.
ReplyDeleteWill be poping by time to time.
I love that you chose to make a 2-page layout in this size! The colors and embellishments are fantastic. Thanks for playing along at Scrap Jacked!
